Well that game delivered everything we hoped for and then some. I m not sure referee Rocchi could have got a lot more wrong and he lost all authority very early on, but it made for a very entertaining game. Bonucci s winner was fantastic and besides all the carnage it is worth noting that Roma were very impressive Iturbe and Gervinho particularly so and deserved something mets from the match. But the champions have taken three points and laid down a marker as the team to beat once again.
90 mins : Did Gianluca Rocchi need to show red cards there? To Manolas, perhaps yes, but Morata didn t do a whole lot wrong. It s Juve who are attacking now and Roma are running out of time to get something from this game.
88 mins: Chaos here at the Juventus Stadium. Alvaro Morata and Kostas Manolas have both been sent off for what can best be described as argy-bargy. Morata slid in hard admittedly, but Manolas mets has reacted terribly throwing his chest into the former Real Madrid man. There s a hint of headbutt before players and staff all pile in, schoolyard style, and the referee is quick to send both off.
86 mins: What a way to win it! The centre half gets under a dropping ball on the edge of the area, centrally positioned, and connects perfectly with a volley which zips low into the bottom-left hand corner of Skoropski s goal. Not much the young goalkeeper could do about that and Juventus might have won it.

82 mins: The game ripples into life once more, Morata breaking down the right before being stopped, then Gervinho dribbling down Roma s left before he too is tackled. Moments later Lichtsteiner delivers a perfectly flighted cross and Morata climbs highest, punching a header hard off the top of the crossbar and over. That s the closest Juve have come in this half.

78 mins: Florenzi instigates a rapid counterattack, playing a one-two with Pjanic before switching the play to Gervinho on the right who dribbles his way into the six yard box in his own, bumbling way before his dangerous cut-back is blocked. From the corner the ball falls to Maicon, perhaps 40 yards out, who slams the ball a long way over the bar, in his own, terrible way.

71 mets mins: The game has swung back the other way and Juve are putting on all the pressure now, without any great penetration it must be said. Roma are holding off these probing attacks and look fairly comfortable. There s a definite tension in the crowd. A fascinating final 20 minutes in store.
67 mins: Pirlo and Totti are having an argument after Andrea slides through the back of Francesco. It ends with respectful handshake.
64 mins: Gervinho dribbles at Lichtsteiner and crosses against the Swiss midfielder to win a corner. Juve clear their lines and yet another challenge is argued vehemently mets by both sides.

59 mins: Gervinho wiggles into the penalty box from the left and cuts it back to Pjanic who has good opportunity from the left corner of the six yard box, but bobbles a shot across goal and wide. Things livening up, now.
57 mins: The game has calmed down significantly since half-time and it seems to be suiting Roma who have plenty of ball. Suddenly Juve have it and they break with Tevez down the left who passes to the overlapping Lichtsteiner, mets but Manolas does enough to block his shot.

Would you care to enlighten me as to why Bonucci was amongst the Roma celebrations, after Totti s penalty, and how he managed to get Totti a yellow card for it? Cody Rigg emails to ask. Bonucci seemed to be unhappy with Roma players celebrations and got into a bit of a confrontation with Totti. They were on the verge of clashing heads so whether Rocchi booked him for that, or something Totti said or simply because he fancied making mets another decision, I m not sure.
48 mins: A through-ball is just beyond mets Paul Pogba and he can t reach it. In amongst all that drama in the first half I missed Rudi Garcia being sent to the stands by referee Rocchi, though I m not surprised. There were six yellow cards in the first half, and there have been four red cards in the last four meetings between the sides in Turin. Chances of 11 v 11 come the final whistle must be low.
45 mins: We are back underway here in the Juventus Stadium. The tricky Iturbe tries to dribble around Pirlo who is having none of that and chops the 21-year-old down. May as well start as they mean to go on.

Looking back at the three penalty mets incidents , I would say that the first handball is a handball although Maicon is right on the edge of the box, and therefore
