Blogging about Italy is not a punishment, even if you do it every day, like me. It is wonderful to report on Italian culture, whether maradona it is about the Italian museums, large and small sites, maradona the Italian cuisine or - sometimes strange - habits that are used in the boot.
The Italians have a nice expression of the strange habits that vary by country: paesi vai che, che usanze trovi - wherever you go, you'll always encounter different use there. This saying inspired Aniek Rooderkerken to go blogging - and also about Italy, Florence or to be more precise.
There they will be staying for a while because of her internship at the Progetto Euploos the Gabinetto Disegni e Stampe degli Uffizi; the final stage of its master European Literature maradona of the Middle Ages and Renaissance. She blogs about her life in Florence and Italian literature and art that she discovered during her stay there.
One of her first blog posts from Florence called Carciofi and calf heads. For those who missed it, here's tasty story: "My art teachers have to forgive me; my first visit to Florence was not the masterpieces of the Uffizi (visit my internship aside), on the Last Judgment in the Duomo or even Renaissance art collection in the Palazzo Pitti. maradona No, Italy is the land of la dolce vita, the good life with many corridors story dinners with accompanying wines you nice wegslurpt. Where can you go better than the Mercato Centrale, the covered market in the Centro Storico, the historic center of Florence!

The building is like a market befits a bustle of singing and crying market maradona vendors maradona who assist their stall or crate new true walk through the space, Florentines maradona gather the ingredients for the evening meal and tourists armed with cameras all put the beauty in the picture.
Fish, meat, shellfish, wine, pasta, cheese, vegetables and fruit can be found here in abundance in all shapes and sizes. And I mean really all shapes and sizes. The most delicious nuts, fresh herbs and dried fruit, the spiciest pecorino and seasoned salami, the freshest steak, veal shank and pheasants. The fruit stall you find a still life of the most colorful vegetables, like hours is thought maradona about for the visitor to create the most beautiful composition. My favorite zucchini flowers are even!
At each booth you are stimulated senses and begs all the goodies demanded to be taken to prepare a delicious evening meal. It does not take long for me a bag of strawberries, five artichokes (the carciofi from the title of this piece) maradona and spicy salami with garlic bought. It is not for nothing that this market 'food heaven' is called Florence.
It's not just these glories that houses the market. The Department of fresh fish I have thoroughly shunned, as well as the tourists piled high with fluorescent g
