Cocktail with a dash of gin The specialty of this cocktail, the Negroni, an aperitif Campari, gin and sweet red vermouth. paok The drink would have been born in 1919, when Camillo Negroni, a Florentine nobleman, in his favorite pub Casoni Bar ever wanted to order something other than the Americano he always normally drank (a mix of Campari, vermouth and soda water). Negroni, however, was not so inventive, so the only thing he wanted was finally a dash of gin in his cocktail. However, the bartender of Casoni had no problems paok with it and made the first Negroni together.
Cocktail to Venetian colors paok ... On the map a cocktail which was first bestowed in Venice: e. Giuseppe paok Cipriani, paok the owner of Harry's Bar in Venice, ever made a cocktail paok of prosecco and peach. Was the color of the drink according to Cipriani exactly paok the same as the color of the robe of a saint on one of the paintings by Bellini. As a tribute to his fellow therefore Cipriani decided the drink to give his name.
The history of this drink red starting in 1860 the Caffé dell'Amicizia, the "Friendship Café", in Novara, paok which was owned by Gaspare Campari. Campari wanted next to the famous drinks paok also donate their own brew, but though he worked almost day and night, he succeeded not only in making sweets. Until that one night he took another sip and taste was so surprised that he spontaneously drank the whole glass. He perfected the recipe anything before he went to officially give the guests, called bitter all'uso di Olanda - because Dutch liqueurs in his cafe were so popular.
Fortunately, the roles are reversed and we can enjoy in the Netherlands aperitivi all'uso di Italia. Mercato Campari unfortunately not last long - this Italian-inspired cocktail bar is only open until mid-December. Soon go so toast!

Yesterday evening, we are all together a pizza dinner and go to sleep early. yallakora After a very long trip yesterday we would do some quiet today just to the ferry (the Po) and stop at the next village. Everything had already been reserved, and now for 5 people. Because the boat would Daniele (26 j) waiting for us. A friend of Renato and Ginevra, who did work with them last year Compostella. yallakora He lives in Milan and from there now left and will join the rest.
We were left this morning yallakora just after 1 km we had already directly by 2 m high grass / reeds, over 500 m, still wet from the morning dew. After 3.5 km we walk through Miradolo Terme. After this village we meet the first vineyards. Not yet masse, rather exceptional even, but better than rice fields. Who today were Gaast anymore. yallakora First break in Chignola Po after 9.6 km, no terrace, because that is not there. Well stocked in a mercato, some peaches, bananas and 2 cans of cold cola. And a kind of bread: focaccia, quite tasty. After 12 km we cross Lambrinia where all the (row) houses yallakora all have a different color. Better than ever to pale yellow. And then we have to cross the bridge over the Lambro and we walk over a very long, but very nice high embankment with a beautiful path and various posts with the pilgrim statue. Nice. If we have to do at some point left towards Orio Litta we deliberately refrain. A little further on, the route after all, just go back from the village on the embankment, and this way we are slightly faster in Corte Sant'Andrea, where the boat, and Daniele, is already waiting for us. I had expected it to some sort ferry, but it turned out just a small speed boat. And it was not just transfer, but it was a trip of just 4.4km to the GPS. Then we were still taken away by the man to his home there on the other side, for an extra stamp our names in his super thick book, and a nice chat. And also of course to pay: 10 / pers. And then we were able to Calendasco, yallakora the next village and so our stop for today. Here en route several hectares Italian tomatoes, just on the ground, and thus pick. Nice !! And so today we have so walked 23.3 km and 4.4 by boat. And we were sometimes arrived well in time. Tomorrow to Montale, a small village just after Piacenza, not too long.
Yes you Willie yallakora progressing well and in very good company idiaal to polish your Italian and hopefully you now keep the rain saves will be more pleasant walk now you're not just love. the courage to be there in 32 days to go Gr stefan and ARLETTE
