Cocktail with a dash of gin The specialty of this cocktail, the Negroni, an aperitif Campari, gin and sweet red vermouth. paok The drink would have been born in 1919, when Camillo Negroni, a Florentine nobleman, in his favorite pub Casoni Bar ever wanted to order something other than the Americano he always normally drank (a mix of Campari, vermouth and soda water).
